A Feldenkrais® Musicians' Workshop from The Berklee School of Music
Music teachers will tell you that you have to "feel the beat." But very few of them can tell you how. Even people who 'get it' know they can always feel the beat even more clearly. Feel the beat and everything becomes easier – from communicating with other musicians to playing complex rhythms to shaping a phrase.
This is true for singers, people who play keys, guitar, strings, winds, percussion, dancers, actors, athletes, and people in any other capacity on the stage of life.
In this Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement workshop you will learn to feel the beat by becoming aware of your breath and the way it moves through you.
Instrument optional. Get ready to groove!
